DOCUMENTARY FOR TELEVISION OR MUSEUM EXHIBIT
If you have a story that you believe warrants a documentary, Boston Film and Video Productions will bring it in on time and on budget. Perhaps your company has a history rich in leadership and innovation or your historical research has led you to a topic that you believe would make a fascinating film. Whether it is for broadcast or for a museum exhibit, Lorie Conway offers consulting and production services to discuss whether your idea has the potential to be a documentary film.
Lorie Conway's experience with documentary films began with the production of The Incredible Voyage of Bill Pinkney, which aired on the Disney Channel and WCVB/Boston, where she was a staff producer at the time. When she found out that Bill Cosby had served in the Navy with Pinkney, Conway knew who to ask to be the narrator of the one hour film. The Peabody Award panel of judges agreed. The story about Bill Pinkney became the first of many documentaries that Lorie Conway has produced. Other credits include a two part series on Boston: The Way It Was, Fabulous Fenway, The Life and Times of John Kenneth Galbraith and The Jews of Boston.
