Where We Have Hope, Going Home to Zimbabwe
is a film about a journalist who, in the course of pursuing his passion to become a
foreign correspondent, falls in love with his adopted country and becomes aligned with its people’s aspirations for a self-governing
society that respects the rule of law. It is also a film about state violence — the actions of a brutal dictator who drives his country
to a state of near collapse. And it is a film about a better tomorrow — a Zimbabwe that rises from the ashes.
